We calculate avoided emissions from:
- Baseline scenario: landfill, incineration or virgin material production
- Actual scenario: revalorisation and local production
- Measured data: processed weight, material type, transport distances and production processes
- Emission factors: drawn from recognised sources, including life-cycle databases
The result is tCO₂-e avoided per batch, tied directly to the physical material flow. It is not a portfolio-wide estimate: it is calculated per production batch and connected to traceable data.
