The Goethe-Schule Buenos Aires, founded in 1897, is a prestigious private, non-profit German international school in Argentina. It offers a trilingual education (German, Spanish, English) for students aged 2 to 18, following a bicultural curriculum recognized by Germany and Argentina.

Since it is a German School Abroad (DAS), it is sponsored by the Federal Republic of Germany.

We upcycled 9.7 m² of flags and assorted textiles, 4.2 m² of silobags, 2.8 metres of seat belts used as handles, 18.6 m² of automotive upholstery, and 121.5 m² of roll-up banners into a collection of tote bags, notebook sleeves and pouches — giving diverse waste streams a purposeful second life.

By combining materials from different waste streams — each with distinct textures, histories and technical properties — we created functional, design-led products that demonstrate the breadth of what circular design can achieve.
